Cyanide is a playable character in Blades of Crossed Hearts. She's an energetic but angsty young girl with a passion violence. Her moveset consists of short ranged attacks that can combo into each other to deal devastating damage. She is voiced by Kaeruchan.

Gameplay

Cyanide is notable for having incredible mobility thanks to her 6 direction teleport and her default 3 air actions.

Rage Damage

Rage Damage is a mechanic that causes players and enemies to deal additional damage while on low health. This mechanic is currently only used by Cyanide.

The number associated with Rage Damage represents the amount of additional damage each attack will do if at 0 health. Note that normally a character with 0 health would be dead, so outside of Tag Team Combat you won't ever do the full amount of Rage Damage.

Blood Rush

Cyanide can enter Blood Rush by pressing Special without holding left or right. While in Blood Rush, many of Cyanide's attacks will hit twice, and her Rage Damage will be increased from 100 to 300. However, she will only have 1 air action instead of her usual 3.

Riptide is one of Cyanide's special moves, performed by holding any direction and pressing special. Cyanide teleports in whichever direction was held. If up or down is held, she will teleport diagonally forward instead.
